At Ref-Sol, we believe in the power of community and coming together for a cause that truly matters. Over the last week, we had the privilege of hosting not one, but two incredible Macmillan Coffee Mornings at our headquarters. These events were more than just a gathering; they were a testament to the compassion and dedication of our team, friends, and family in supporting a cause that touches every single one of us—cancer.
A Family Affair at Ref-Sol HQ
On Thursday, August 29th, and Friday, August 30th, our Ref-Sol HQ was buzzing with excitement as we opened our doors to family and friends for the first of two very special coffee mornings. The atmosphere was electric, with everyone coming together to bake, donate, and enjoy some truly delicious treats, all in the name of raising as much money as possible for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Our talented staff went all out, donning their best green outfits to show their support for Macmillan. The tables were filled with a mouth-watering array of goodies, from a classic Victoria sponge to indulgent Lotus Biscoff cakes, carrot cake, croissants, fudge, sandwiches, and so much more. It was clear that everyone had put their heart and soul into creating something special for the event.
Coming Together for a Cause Close to Our Hearts
Cancer is a disease that affects every single one of us in some way, whether directly or through someone we love. That’s why these coffee mornings meant so much to the Ref-Sol family. It was a chance to come together, not just as colleagues, but as a united community, determined to make a difference.
The generosity and support we received were overwhelming. With the help of our amazing team, their friends, and families, we managed to raise over £400 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Every penny of this will go towards helping those affected by cancer, providing them with the vital support and care they need during some of the toughest times of their lives.
